  • Use the same search engine (maybe Google?)
  • Have no idea how results are ranked
  • Are easily manipulated by results
  • The key is to use a variety of search tools and to look past the first page of results.

The Tools:
Activity: Search with Notebook
  • Choose a topic to research.
  • Use as many of the tools above as possible to search for relevant resources.
  • Save and annotate your "finds" in a Google Notebook
  • Share your notebook with another participant.
  • Reflect on your experience and share with the group.
  • OPTIONAL: Create a blog post from your shared notebook. You can even amend your reflections to the post.
